The Resort is just 85 miles from Portland by way of Hood River. Take interstate 84 east up the Columbia River Gorge to Hood River, then drive southwest to Dee and follow the signs to Lost Lake.  We are located at the end of Lost Lake Road and our address is 9000 Lost Lake Road, Hood River, OR 97031. You may obtain a hard copy of our campground map here on our maps page or by picking up a copy in our general store during business hours.

I-84 TO LOST LAKE

  • Take exit 62 for US-30 for Westcliff Dr./W Hood River-0.2 mi
  • Turn right at Cascade Ave/US-30 – 154 ft
  • Turn right at Country Club Rd – 2.9 mi
  • Turn left at Barrett Dr – 1.2 mi
  • Turn right at Tucker Rd – 2.0 mi
  • Slight right at Dee Hwy – 6.3 mi
  • Slight right at Lost Lake Rd – 1.5 mi
  • Turn left/stay on Lost Lake Rd – 0.5 mi
  • Turn right/stay on Lost Lake Rd – 6.1 mi
  • Turn right/stay on Lost Lake Rd – 0.1 mi
  • Turn left at Lost Lake Rd/NFD 13 Rd – 3.7 mi
  • Turn right at NFD 13 Rd – 1.7 mi

highway 26 to zig zag

NOTE!  This route is NOT recommended.
A second route from Portland. This is a truly scenic route to the lake but it does have 4 miles of gravel road over the pass. This route should be driven with caution and a map maybe necessary.

  • Take Mt. Hood Highway 26 to Zig Zag
  • From ZigZag, at the Zigzag store, go north on the Lolo Pass Road
  • Drive 10.7 miles on Lolo Pass Road
  • Take 2nd right at Lolo Pass, onto FS 18, which is signed for Lost Lake
  • Follow the signs to Lost Lake
  • Please note signs are sometimes not visible!
