Where We’re Located

Lost Lake Resort is located in Hood River County, Oregon, nestled deep in the Mount Hood National Forest — just 25 miles southwest of Hood River and about 90 minutes from Portland.

We’re the only Lost Lake with lakefront views of Mt. Hood, on-site cabins, yurts, a general store, and boat rentals. Make sure you’re heading to the right one!

Driving Directions from Portland:

  • Take I-84 East to Exit 62 – Hood River
  • Follow Country Club Rd to Barrett Dr
  • Turn left on Barrett Dr → right on Tucker Rd
  • Continue on Hwy 281 (Dee Highway)
  • Turn onto Lost Lake Road and drive 13 miles through the forest
  • Lost Lake Road ends at the resort and campground
  • Look for signs along the way and enjoy the scenic drive through the beautiful Hood River Valley!

  • no electrical hookups
  • R. V. dump & fill is available to R. V. campers
  • There are a number of R.V. spaces in D loop that will accept a 40′ RV

Additional Information & Rules

  • Registration/check-in time is 3 p.m.
  • Check-out time is 12:00 p.m.
  • Campsites may not be left unattended for more than 24 hours.
  • Discharging guns or fireworks is prohibited.
  • All pets must be on a leash no more than 6 feet.
  • Noisy or vicious pets are not allowed.
  • Don’t leave pets unattended / clean up messes
  • Quiet hours: 10pm – 8am
  • Campfires in designated areas only – when fire ban not in effect. *Fire ban in effect beginning July 17, 2025*
  • Motorbikes ridden to & from campsites only
  • First come, first served sites F 7-31 are a revolving door of open and occupied and we can’t give an accurate update, but we always recommend coming up early. You must establish your site with your tent set up before payment is accepted. Thanks for understanding.
