Lake History
Native Indians to the area called Lost Lake, E-e-kwahl-a-mat-yam- ishkt,
meaning 'heart of the mountains,' which to the modern day visitor may
seem more appropriate than lost.' However, Lost Lake is easier to pronounce.

Organization Camp - Mt. Hood National Forest
To reserve the Organization camp area call (541)-386-6366
2 night minimum, weekends, 3 night minimum on Holidays.
2 night deposit confirms your reservation.
All R.V.’s must pay a $6 dump fee - Extra vehicles must pay $7
per vehicle..
